CRFL HISTORY

The CRFL was born in 2018, as a result of a series of adverse circumstances that American Football is going through in Costa Rica, at that time the player Danny Herrera known as Disco meets with Javier Cañas to take charge of an interest of the High Voltage team from Mexico, who wanted to visit the country and play a game against the Costa Rican All Star.

In the midst of these negotiations, journalist Olman Mora joined the working group, who was fundamental with his experience and contacts in various media, we were also fortunate to join Lawyer Alexander Alvarado and Carlos Villalobos, who became pieces strategic to the present.

The event that was held was called the Latino Bowl and it was the first experience of a national team against a Mexican team, we also had the live broadcast of TD + which represented something historical.

We obtained the victory by a very strong score and from that moment the CRFL gave way to a new way of seeing and developing the sport in Costa Rica and Latin America, giving us to know in many countries , making agreements and generating new opportunities for all athletes and teams in the country.

We held the 2019 NATIONAL Championship, the final known as the CRFL BOWL, later the second edition OF the Latino Bowl visiting Nicaragua...
